About
Useful estimates, clearly labeled.
Local AI Fit is an independent guide to running local AI models on consumer hardware. It exists because model pages and community benchmarks answer different questions: whether a model can run, and how fast it will feel.
What we measure
- Conservative minimum and recommended memory figures.
- Supported quantizations and install commands.
- Known limitations that affect a first run.
- Whether a machine uses unified memory or dedicated VRAM.
What we do not claim
- That a compatibility estimate is a benchmark.
- That a model will produce the same speed on every machine.
- That an install command is official documentation.
- That every model is suitable for every workload.
